Hi Everyone,

As we all know, the 2nd Wollongong Classic held between Sydney Blue Sox and Canberra Calvary is coming back to Wollongong!

As part of our commitment to this event, the Pirates are to assist the Calvary and ABL ground staff to prepare the field for the game. We are seeking volunteers the day before, to help out with ground preparations. Details for these preparations include:

Commencement time for volunteers to be 9.00am
Estimated preparation finishing time to be 5.00pm
Preparation of the warm-up pitchers mounds on the 1st & 3rd foul line area
Preparation of the infield cut-outs and pitcher’s mound
Assistance with fencing and establishment of seating areas
Other general duties for the event.
Bring gloves, hat, sun cream and a shovel.
