Hi all,

We have checked in on Thomas Dalton and all things considered it is looking pretty good. There is a small spot in right field that is still a bit of an issue but should affect too much.

We are looking to make the field playable from the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of July. We won’t be able to make this happen without the support of the club and it’s members.

We are asking anyone with some free time between now and the 2nd/3rd of July to head down to Thomas Dalton and assist with the following:

Weed all the cut out areas;
Top up the pitcher mound area with the spare dirt we have near the left field, fence; (need to remove the lips)

We will also need assistance to do the line marking and preparation for game days.

If we want to have games at home this year, it’s really important everyone’s chips in to get us there. Coordinate a couple of mates and head down for an hour or so and it will make a massive difference.

If you can please let myself and/or Kanga know if you are able to spare some time, that would be great. We can then let the league know that we’re ready to start hosting games 🙂
