Dear Bucs,

As part of the management & running of the club, the ‘committee’ is made up of the Executive Members (office bearers – 5 positions), Management Committee ( 5 ordinary member positions) and the club head coach. This equates to 11 people on the ‘committee’.

The club also has a number of sub-committees formed for special functions that club completes every year. E.g. Sponsorship, Events, Canteen etc..

For 2022, we do have one (1) management committee position to fill after our recent AGM. This position is a great ‘entry level’ position for any member who might be interested in learning about what is involved in managing the affairs of the club.

I would encourage every Pirate to be active and help when you can in the day to day activities, in order to make the club a great success. After all, the club ‘belongs’ to everyone; it is the ‘Pirates family culture’ that we do cherish and hold dear to all of us. The more help we have, the better outcomes for all Pirates within the club.
